ATTENTION-DEFICIT/HYPERACTIVTY DISORDER

Occurs in childhood and persists into adulthood.

Is a condition characterized by:

• difficulty paying attention

• overactive

• rash behaviour

Inattention:

•  difficulty sustaining attention or focusing, which can lead to omissions, difficulty following conversations, not fully understanding instructions, losing things, 

• easily distracted,

• disorganized or poor planning.

Hyperactivity:

• unable to sit still,

• rowdy,

• excessive talking,

• interrupts others,

• impatient.
